Elizabeth von Nardroff
Elizabeth, our American born and educated head tutor, has over 20 years tutoring experience in the US and across Europe.
Bio
Elizabeth, founder and head tutor, is friendly and approachable as well as knowledgeable in all things ACT and SAT. American born and educated, she is a graduate of Sarah Lawrence College and recipient of a CELTA degree. She has over 20 years of experience tutoring a variety of subjects, including Math, English, and Writing at secondary and university levels in the US and across Europe. In 2005, she began SAT and ACT tutoring in earnest, studying the particularities of the tests and best strategies, earning her students high scores in the process! In 2011, Elizabeth founded American SAT Tuition, which while based in London, welcomes students worldwide. Schools such as the Sevenoaks School and students from around the UK, Europe, Asia, Africa, and beyond have benefitted Elizabeth’s lessons and lectures.
On top of being an expert in the US admission tests, she is well-versed in the UK schooling system (A-Level and IB), so she understands the particular challenges international students face when tackling the American SAT and ACT exams.
Her extensive experience has helped past students gain entrance to top US universities including Yale, Princeton, Dartmouth, Duke, UPenn and UC Berkeley, to name a few.
